In the world of Art, there are two kinds of taste in the appreciation of imaginative literature: the taste for emotions of surprise and the taste for emotions of recognition. Many get hit with emotions of surprise in disbelief, many are confident with their works and only crave for recognition amidst stiff competition. The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) organized Uganda Film Festival Awards always come in as a match stick to motivate, encourage and light up smiles of the hopefully Film makers through recognizing their works with awards and sums of money to help them make more competitive projects.

On Friday Morning, there was a feel of sweat out of excitement and joy from those film makers that had planned and prepared for this year’s edition of the UFF having had a taste of a magical night when Film makers became  Millionaires in a fortnight last year.

It was the release of the nomination list of Films  in the 2017 Uganda Film Festival.  An annual Awards Ceremony aimed at generating interest and bringing the Uganda Film Industry players together in a more focused and promising environment. The Festival will take place between 28th August until 1st September closing with the Awards Night.

Devil’s Chest, an amazing piece of Story about the LRA Lord Joseph Kony Leads the Nominations list followed by Torture, Breaking the customs among other movies.

Below is the Official Full list of Nomination of the UFF 2017.
